Decklynn and Joel Theisen moved to Minnesota from Chicago in 1972 in order for Joel to attend law school. Decklynn began her real estate career in 1976 with a degree in Sociology and a family history of entrepreneurship in real estate. Joel too is an entrepreneur. He opened his law office in 1975. He very successfully represented his clients in the legal field until 2005 when he joined Decklynn in the real estate business.

Today, Decklynn and Joel have three adult sons and three grandchildren. Raising three boys was fun and now being grandparents to three grandkids is wonderful too. Doing some of the same fun things they did 20 years ago with the boys and now with the grandkids is something they really cherish.
